She told me: “With a heavy heart, I have to tell you that my husband, Stephen, has died. Stephen brought light into every room he went into ” He cared most about his family, friends, and community. Leading with love and light was the most important thing in the world to him. He was the strongest member of our family. He was also the best husband and father, and his fans looked up to him.”
Holker went on: “It would be an understatement to say that he left a legacy, and the good things he did will continue to be felt. I’m sure there won’t be a day that goes by when we don’t remember him ” During this hard time for me and especially for our three children, we ask for privacy. We love you, Stephen, and we miss you. I’ll always save the last dance for you.”
The cause of death has been ruled to be suicide by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner Officer.
The New York Times said that on Tuesday, December 13, police were called to a LA motel where Boss was found.
